He Grasped the Paper As If It Were Keeping Him Alive

This little (big?) guy was waiting at the door when I came home from work. Isn't he pretty? I am so fascinated by insects that I sometimes wonder if I shouldn't have studied entomology. Then I remember I can't keep 900+ species of monkey straight so there is no way I could remember the millions of insects out there. I mean, I can't even tell what this is. How sad.
